I Am Who I Am

Dear Souls,

On the path of life, instead of competing with others, we must turn inward and face ourselves. That is what I have always done. I have never been anyone’s rival, nor have I ever wanted to be seen as one. Because my only rival has always been myself.

Until today, I have always been who I am. I said what I thought, I acted as I felt. There has never been two different versions of me. I never hid my anger or frustration. I lived everything as it was. Because I know that being genuine is the truest path.

Our ancestors said: “Tell me who your friend is, and I’ll tell you who you are.” This saying actually tells us how the people we walk with shape who we become. If you say, “I am a student of İsmail Bülbül, I am a master of İsmail Bülbül,” it shows that you are on the right path and rising. If you don’t, that too is up to you. Everyone chooses their own path.

Remember: in this life, no one can block what is destined for another. What matters is that we protect our own honesty and our path. This is who I am, just as I am.

In short: I am ME.
