ENDLESS TASKS

For many years, I worked in high-demand departments of multinational companies. In such environments, keeping things running smoothly requires consistent, uninterrupted effort. Moreover, in spontaneously held meetings, it is essential to ensure that the progress of each task assigned to you in action lists is properly documented. You never know — sometimes these lists may end up in the hands of factory managers or visiting executives conducting inspections.

This type of work structure demands constant awareness. And during the meetings or audits I mentioned, the physiological stress triggered by ancestral signals encoded in your body — the hormonal reaction that comes when there’s nowhere to run — can slowly deteriorate your health if left unmanaged.

So, what can we do? Here are my suggestions:

1. Always stay in the present moment. Leave work at work, home at home, and live each moment as it comes. If you lose presence, the quality of your communication with those around you may decrease. You may struggle to understand each other and face issues with connection and synchronization.(Eckhart Tolle – The Power of Now)

2. Make a promise: from now on, live solely and truly for yourself. Remember: Happiness begins when your own cup is full — only then can you begin to fill others’. You cannot give something you do not possess. Trying to fill other people’s cups while waiting for yours to overflow is not sustainable in the long term.(İsmail Bülbül – 17th Stage Reiki Grand Master Teacher)

3. Find multiple hobbies that make you happy. When choosing them, aim for alignment with your family life and ensure that the energy of the space you're in supports activities done in solitude.

4. Instead of trying to complete all your tasks at once, maintain a buffer stock. But be mindful — don’t let that stockpile become excessive.

5. Speak to others with a smile.Think positively. Frequently seek people’s opinions and learn what they think about the matters at hand. Stay open to the flow of information.

Negative behavior on your part may cause others to respond negatively in return. In the long run, this can lead to being disliked, which creates unhealthy living conditions.

(You might consider being initiated into Reiki. Reiki shifts you from a negative state of being to a more positive one.)

6. Stay away from toxic environments.

Yes, dear readers of Varoluş Magazine, If you're not happy, you become a part of the endless tasks. But if you are happy, the endless tasks become a part of you.

This is a choice...
