CREATION THAT COMES FROM BALANCE

Let’s imagine a world where there are thoughts, but no emotions are generated in response to those thoughts. Or, there are emotions, but no thoughts are produced in response to those emotions. How do you think life would be? Imagine someone shares their thought with you, and you respond with a thought but no emotion at all. I guess there would be no conflict. I try to imagine a world where all relationships run solely on thoughts — I think it would be lacking. Just think: if life was lived only through the exchange of thoughts, wouldn’t it be monotonous? For example, imagine a great invention made through a beautiful thought — say the discovery of the car — but after it is created, there is no sense of success, no feeling of comfort or ease, just usage.

Now let’s look at the opposite: what if there were only emotions and no thoughts at all? This seems impossible. Imagine being happy but having no idea why, or being angry but having no thought about what you’re angry about. You’re angry but can’t think about why, so you couldn’t take action. I guess there would be no conflict either. I don’t know how it sounds to you, but this option seems even less plausible than the other. In other words, having emotion without thought, life wouldn’t flow or progress.

I have always wondered: do emotions create thoughts, or do thoughts create emotions? I think it goes both ways. Sometimes thoughts generate emotions, and sometimes emotions give rise to thoughts. Rather than whether there is a beginning or an end, what matters is how this interplay affects our lives.

Even the most analytical person has experienced the truth that what we believe, we create. So, if you can bring your awareness to what kinds of emotional and thought frequencies your beliefs produce, you will become conscious that many of the emotions and thoughts that seem independent of us are actually guiding our lives and the world.

But what if we could direct our emotions and thoughts as we wish — wouldn’t that be a superpower? Maybe we already have this ability; it’s up to us to remember and consciously create our own reality.
